A Limpopo woman was found dead at an equestrian farm in Haenertsburg following a suspected robbery.
The woman was believed to be a manager at the Silver Mist resort. A source from the area said the woman was found dead under her bed. She apparently lived on her own on the property.
“The house was turned upside down and ransacked. The incident is believed to have happened around midnight and she was found by one of the workers around 07:00,” he said.
An undisclosed amount of money was taken along with a bakkie.
Police spokesperson Colonel Ronel Otto confirmed a crime had been committed in that area but said she would only be in a position a bit later to release further details.
